The main goal of this book is to present Hungarian speech from from various different points of view(phonetics, acoustics, digital processing, speech technology and applications). The general acoustic features of Hungarian are discussed from the viewpoint of phonetic and speech technology research and also through applications (machine speech perception, artificial speech generation, speech information systems, speech therapy etc.). The book represents a multidisciplinary work, making a bridge between phonetics and speech technology. It is the first of its kind for Hungarian.
