Based on the latest statistical data and research results, the book reveals the world economic environment of the export-oriented Hungarian agriculture. It studies the changes expected in world agriculture, on the agrarian markets, in the World Trade Organization, and in the agricultural policies of the EU, the USA and the neighbouring Central and Eastern European countries. It also examines how Hungarian agriculture can adjust itself to the upcoming changes. Special attention will be paid to the timely issues of Hungary's agricultural accession to the EU.
