      New Hungarian Dialect Dictionary Volume 4 : N-S Hungarian linguistics has been in want of a new dictionary to present the vocabulary of our dialects for linguistic (etymological, dialectological, lexicological) or ethnographic investigations, and to inform translators, teachers and readers about dialect  words appearing in literary works. The New Hungarian Dialect Dictionary contains over 500 thousand data arranged in about 120 thousand entries in five volumes. A list to identify the 2000 hand-written and printed sources can be found in the first volume, just as the list of about 4000 geographical names with maps which help to locate the data not only from Hungary but also from the Hungarian-speaking villages of the surrounding countries.
