Aims and Scope Heavy Ion Physics publishes papers in the field of theoretical and experimental high-energy physics, including nucleus-nucleus, hadron-nucleus and atom-nucleus reactions, hadronic matter under extreme conditions, quark-gluon plasma physics, connected astrophysics and cosmology, as well as further related basic and applied research.
