The editor-in-chief, Pál Uzonyi and the editors of the dictionaries modernized the material of the former dictionaries, extended the meanings of headwords and included approximately 15,000 new entries in each dictionary. The new words and expressions (mostly of economic nature) include the vocabulary of Hungarian and Russian language that has emerged or has been borrowed from foreign languages recently. The dictionaries are useful references for learners of Russian language at intermediate and advanced level, both for translation and language learning as well.
